ABOUT ME
I’m Amber Evans, a senior UX and product designer with 15+ years of experience across UX, product, web, brand, graphic design and AI-led digital experiences.
I’ve worked across major brands, financial services and high-trust customer journeys, including NatWest, PayPlan, Reader’s Digest Equity Release, GHD, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Coral, CNN, The Mirror and Post Office. My work often sits where brand credibility, user confidence and commercial performance all need to come together.
Approach
I’m strongest where strategy and design meet. I can take a complicated brief, understand the customer problem, shape the product direction and turn it into a polished experience that feels simple, credible and easy to use. Whether it is a banking referral journey, a financial support tool or a consumer-facing website, I focus on making complex decisions feel clearer and more reassuring.
Progression
Alongside design, I’m currently completing an MSc in Computer Science with a focus on AI and machine learning. This has pushed my work further into the space between AI, UX and product design, particularly around how intelligent systems can improve customer journeys when they are designed around real user needs.
Amber Design has been recognised for both UX design and business excellence, including Leading UX Design Specialist, London at the SME News UK Enterprise Awards 2025.
My wider work has also been recognised outside of commercial design, including a Prime Minister’s Point of Light Award for founding Not Alone Plymouth, a community initiative created to support people who needed somewhere safe, visible and understanding.
